Glazerite installers have yet again come out top in the annual Network VEKA awards, taking not only nearly half of all the Regional trophies plus Best Newcomer but also scooping the coveted National title for the third time in a row.
The trade fabricator’s customers matched last year’s near-record trophy haul, as well as gaining a majority of all the finalists’ spots and the entries into the organisation’s ‘best of the best’, its 100% Club.
The National title as well as the Eastern region went to Frames Conservatories Direct of Bury St Edmunds for a second year in succession, while Thistle returned to the trophy table with joint best in Scotland making its 14th Network VEKA award in the organisation’s 20-year history, Shane Howells retained the West of England and KJM Windows the South – both for the seventh time – and Cheadle Glass held the North West for a third year in a row. Best Newcomer in the south this year went to Wilson Windows of Loughborough.
Glazerite Director Jason Thompson said after the awards: “These are all absolutely first class businesses and they amply deserve their trophies. At Glazerite, we not only do all we can to support our installer partners to grow their businesses but also urge them to commit themselves 100% to Network VEKA and make full use of the fantastic support and services it offers.
“All of these winners have shown what can be achieved when the best companies make the most of the support that is available.”
The trophies were presented at organisation’s AGM and Gala Dinner at the Holiday Inn, Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday (Mar 12).
This is the fourth year in succession that Glazerite customers have taken the biggest share of the annual awards. Last year, they also took five Regional trophies as well as UK Champion, plus Fitter of the Year and 12 of the 30 finalist slots. In 2014 they took six Regionals and 12 of the finalists, and four Regionals the year before.
Glazerite is The VEKA UK Group’s largest trade fabricator in the UK and a long-standing Network VEKA member. It offers a fully nationwide service based on manufacturing units in Northants, Peterborough and Greater Manchester as well as its South West distribution hub in Bristol serving South Wales and The West of England.
